Salman Khan News: Two accused who opened fire outside the house of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan have been arrested. Mumbai Crime Branch said on Tuesday (April 16) that both the accused have been arrested from Bhuj district of Gujarat. Sources have said that the names of the arrested accused are Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal. Vicky and Sunil had opened fire outside Salman Khan’s apartment in Bandra, Mumbai on Sunday (April 14).
Before the firing outside Salman’s house, both of them were living on rent in a society in Panvel area adjacent to Mumbai for the last one month. Both of them did recce of the Bollywood star’s house and then carried out the firing incident. Both the accused were arrested by the Crime Branch from Bhuj on Monday night. It is being told that the accused are residents of West Champaran district of Bihar. They will be brought from Bhuj to Mumbai on Tuesday (April 16) morning for further action.
Firing took place at Galaxy Apartment at 5 in the morning
Mumbai Police said that the two attackers who came on a bike had fired four rounds outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Branda. This incident took place at 5 am on Sunday morning. After the firing, both the accused fled from the spot. Police said that Salman Khan was present in the house at the time of firing. However, there were no casualties in this attack. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation.
The attackers ran away leaving the bike
Investigating officials found out that after the firing, the attackers had left the motorcycle near Mount Mary Church, about a kilometer from Salman’s house. The attackers then walked some distance and took an autorickshaw to Bandra Railway Station. The accused boarded a train headed towards Borivali but got down at Santa Cruz railway station and exited from there. After this he escaped from Mumbai and went to hide in Bhuj, Gujarat.
Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother had taken responsibility for the attack.
At the same time, Anmol Bishnoi, brother of social media platform gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, had taken responsibility for the firing at Salman’s house. Jailed Lawrence Bishnoi and wanted gangster Goldie Brar have threatened to kill Salman Khan several times. According to sources, Bishnoi and Brar had sent their shooters to Mumbai to kill Salman.
Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang has reportedly been threatening Salman Khan because of the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. Black deer are considered sacred in the Bishnoi community.
